Santa Cruz (mid-county beaches)
For kids ages three to twelve!
Meet our fun and loving staff beachside in Santa Cruz (mid county beaches) daily for some fun in the sand! Exercise, activities, crafts, fun science lessons, and very basic water entry are on the schedule daily. Try a variety of sports, one step at a time, on the sand. We offer a 1:3 ratio of chaperones to kids for safety! Bring bagged lunches, a towel, and your favorite sunscreen. We do the rest! Registration includes a camp hoodie!
Santa Cruz Codes
In-person in Watsonville or virtual
For ages 11-17, all levels. Complete three fun and creative coding projects in three days. Make a simple Java Script game with graphics, a website you believe-in using HTML and JSS, and an interactive text project with Python. Students will be supported building their projects whether they have no experience coding or have taken a coding class before! Take a break mid-week for a beach day with fellow campers, or if you’re not in the local area or want to stay virtual, to complete a hands-on electronic tinkering project that will be mailed to you.
This camp has a virtual option and a fully in-person option. Students may be dropped off in Watsonville with a bag lunch and portable computer if they choose in-person, or may complete the projects virtually from home with instructor on zoom.
Limited to ten campers to allow plenty of individualized support!
